2006/May: Winning the Cleveland Classic 10Km (Ohio, USA). The rain and cold conditions were always present during the race.
2007/October: Last 300 meter of the Oita´s International wheelchair marathon. Santi won the race and didn´t set a new world record by just only a second. He beat the Olympic champion Takada by 19 seconds.
2007/July: Santi finished exhausted in the boilermaker. A crazy hilly 15Km race in the USA.
