Athletics is an exciting sport but the athlete preparation is a complex task and every parameters which determine the perfomance of an athlete are studied carefully for it´s harmonious developement through the sport life career.

I´m writing this post to denounce the situation of some spanish athletes and this is that in our country the Nationals are not celebrated in a year period, it can be celebrated whenever (May, July,…) and also the organizers don´t respect the international calendar that so many racers use to do and get money for it.

The athletics season begin´s on November 1st and use to finish by middle September for track racers and a different fact are the marathonians who use to race in spring and autum the vast majority of events.

The Spanish Athletics Federation for non disable athletes has a criteria and his national outdoor nationals must be celebrated last June weekend or first August one, also date and place of this event is announced one year ago in the celebration of Spanish Nationals.

This fact allow coaches and athletes establish lines of action for next season and make a competition calendar which make not coicide the Nationals with another internationals and nationals events.

Today (26-01-09) it´s unknown the place and date of next spanish nationals (I didn´t get any confirmation) and we just need cross the fingers for it doesn´t fix in an international race day already fixed in the IPC schedule.

My question is such as simple as Would be really hard to propose a period in the year where shoud be fixed the Spanish Nationals and where the International schedule be respect?
